Celebrating Hound House Coffee's First Birthday

It’s hard to believe, but Hound House Coffee is celebrating its first birthday! What an incredible year it has been, filled with adventure, growth, and a whole lot of delicious coffee. As we reflect on our first year, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who have supported us along the way.

A Journey Rooted in Passion

From the very beginning, Hound House Coffee has been about more than just coffee. It’s been about community, connection, and a shared love for our four-legged friends. Our journey started with a simple idea: to bring great coffee to hound lovers everywhere while supporting rescue efforts for beagles and other dogs in need. We’re proud to say that, one year in, that mission has remained at the heart of everything we do.

Milestones and Moments to Remember

Over the past year, we’ve launched a variety of unique coffee blends that reflect our passion for quality and creativity. From our Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, with its floral notes and hints of brown spice, to our Bali Volcanic Reserve, with its rich flavors of baker's chocolate, orange peel, and juniper — each coffee has told a story, and each one has found its way into the cups of coffee lovers across the country.

We’ve also had the pleasure of introducing you to some of the pups behind the brand, like Jax, our foster fail turned family member, and Astrid and Patches, the dynamic duo featured on our Cosmic Whiskey Roast label. Sharing their stories and seeing the love they receive from our community has been a joy beyond words.

And let’s not forget our favorite moments connecting with you at local events, like the Bee Caves Volunteer Fair and the Furrbaby Food Pantry’s Easter microchipping event. Each event has been an opportunity to share our story, spread the word about Hound Rescue, and meet so many wonderful people (and their pets!).

Where We’ve Been

Thanks to you, our coffee has traveled far and wide in just one year. From coast to coast, our beans have made their way into homes and hearts across the United States. Seeing the map of where we’ve shipped our coffee fills us with immense pride and gratitude — it’s a visual reminder of the community we’ve built together, one cup at a time.

Looking Ahead to Year Two

As we move into our second year, we have so much to look forward to. We’re planning new coffee releases, exciting events, and more ways to connect with all of you. We’re also committed to continuing our support for Hound Rescue, helping more dogs find their forever homes.
