Sourced from the remote North Tana Toraja region and grown at elevations reaching up to 2000 MASL—among the highest in Indonesia—this medium-dark roast has a smooth, low-acid profile. Notes of baker’s chocolate and toasted nuts unfold in a complex, deeply satisfying cup, finishing with an irresistibly smooth texture.

Crafted by members of the Torajan tribe, this coffee is grown on small family farms—often less than 3 acres—where cherries are hand-sorted and wet-hulled using the traditional Giling Basah method. This unique process contributes to the bean’s signature bluish hue and its unmistakable Indonesian flavor profile.

Behind the beans is Koperasi Puspeta Luwu, a cooperative working for nearly 40 years to connect remote growers with international markets. Their infrastructure and quality control allow for traceable, direct trade coffee that truly benefits the communities who grow it.
